BNI Cork generates €1 million in a year

The University chapter of GNP (Business Networking International) Cork this week celebrated generating € 1 million worth of business in just one year. University Chapter, meeting in County Hall every Wednesday morning, succeeded in driving sales and new business opportunities for their colleagues by encouraging each other through word of mouth and referrals.

The group, which consists of local businesses and industries, is one of the many GNI groups throughout south and west of Ireland, which continues to beat the economic crisis by working together and supporting each other to build their businesses. GNI provides a structured, supportive, business environment where local business people can meet to network, learn valuable new marketing skills and develop strong personal relationships that lead to trust and the consequent generation of significant business for each other.

All members of the university chapter serve as a sales force for each other by sending new business opportunities and provide referrals. GNP operates under the philosophy of ‘principals gain “if I give you business you’ll give me business.

Talking about € 1,000,000 milestone achievement, Brendan by Brendan Mehegan Mehegan Painting Contractors and current University chapter director said: “There is simply no arguing with the GNP strategy, you reap what you sow.
